Web is a medium for publishers to organize materials for consumers to read. Wikis allow each user to be an author, editor and reader of content: allows individuals globally to contribute to a shared publication without professionals, provides another means of publishing pages other than through web pages. More specifically, by the end of this module, you will be able to: create a wiki page using wikitext: examine an article"s editing history and revert an article to a previous version; respond appropriately to a conflicting update. Module 6 week 6 wikitext: an alternative markup language used by wikis, similar to html representing various text components on www. Special pages: classes of pages that serve specific functions (namespace: ttile: user:jasminephung provides information of the registered user on wiki, category: classifies articles in the category namespace to support user"s ability to browse the wiki. To indent use colons (:), the number of colons determines the level of indentations (::)
