Those 2 defendants ile both statement of defence and cross claim: ex: you trip and fall at uw during winter cause it wasn"t clean. However, uw contracts out cleaning to another agency. Uw (the defendant) iles a 3rd party claim against agency. First the court will hear the irst claim, if the student wins, then they will hear the 2nd claim. Indemniicaion clause: says you must pay back money since you didn"t do task correctly. Agency would pay back uw: ex: person runs snowmobile business. Guy falls, sues parking lot owner, parking lot owner sues worker cleaning, person sues broker cause they didn"t get him proper insurance. Person suing broker would be a 4th party claim. Aidavit of discovery has to list all relevant things in their possession and things that are relevant that are not in their possession (documents in doctors possession). Paries reveal who they will call at trial. Meeing usually takes place in one of lawyers oice.
