Olympus and stood between the two opposing families. The fight was avoided and odysseus lived a long, happy life. The story of odysseus" death is not included in the odyssey. Odysseus had a son with circe named telegonus, who grew up to be a pirate. Telegonus came upon odysseus" lands to raid and ended up killing his father. It was prophesied that odysseus would die peacefully from the sea; his pirate son. Another of the famous heroes, perseus was a hero from the city of argos. He was a very important hero to the greeks since he is mentioned very often. Illustrations show perseus holding the head of medusa. Acrisius, king of argos, received a prophecy saying danae, his daughter, will have a son who will kill him.
