Perithous was going to get married so he invited his relatives. Centaurs showed their savagery during wedding (because they got drunk) Carried bride and bridesmaid away to rape them. Lapiths and perithous and theseus slayed the centaurs. Decided that they were both going to get wives because their first wives had died. Too young to marry right away so theseus had to wait for her to get older. Terrible plan (to marry persephone because she was already married to hades) Theseus and perithous went down to underworld to get persephone. Hades caught them and stuck them on chair to keep them there forever. Heracles went down and succeeded in saving theseus. Couldn"t save perithous because heracles heard rumblings that suggested that hades was coming. Perithous ended up staying there forever: champion of the oppressed. 2016-03-28: exile: his cousin menestheus forced him out. Didn"t think theseus was in his right mind to rule: death: killed by king lycomedes on scyros.
