Folktales, hero or heroine, who will triumph in the end; their goal is primarily, but not necessarily solely, to entertain. Fairytales may be classiied as paricular kinds of folktales, deined as short, imaginaive, tradiional tales with a high moral and magical content . Rarely, if ever do we ind a prisine, uncontaminated example of any one of these forms.
