Amphitryon goes into exile and he goes to thebes and is cleansed by the king of thebes. Alcmena followed amphityon but would not be his wife until he helps her get revenge: in thebes; amphitryon v. pterelaus (comaetho) =pterelaus has a golden strand of hair from poseidon which makes him immortal.
