After completing the self-directed search, my results show that my key motivators to be social, investigative and conventional. Social refers to individuals that have personal attributes that enable them to interact effectively and harmoniously with other people. Social individuals are usually known as helpful, friendly, trustworthy and empathetic. Investigative are individuals who are strongly passionate about studying and solving math or science problems. They value science and portrays themselves as scientific, precise and intellectual. Lastly, conventional are individuals that like to work with numbers, records or machines in an organized way. They value success in business and portrays themselves as orderly and excellent at following plans. However, they try to avoid unstructured or ambiguous activities. According to holland"s definition, consistency is defined by using the hexagon model of the six personalities. Adjacent types on the hexagon are most consistent meaning they have more compatible interests and can mean that they can easily be incorporated into a single job.
