What does it (cid:373)ea(cid:374) to be a (cid:862)good perfor(cid:373)er(cid:863): behaviours fit into three broad categories, 1. Citizenship behaviour: these two are positive to the organization, 3. counterproductive behaviour (negative) Task performance: task performance include employee behaviours that are directly involved in the transformation or organizational resources into the goods and services that the organization produces. E. g. makes you seem like a programmed robot: adaptive task performance (adaptability) involves employee responses to task demands that are novel, unusual, unpredictable. E. g. think fast situations: creative task performance is the degree to which individuals develop ideas or physical outcomes that are both novel and useful. Combine useful and creativity in one: we a(cid:396)e at the (cid:862)da(cid:449)(cid:374) of the (cid:272)(cid:396)eati(cid:448)e stage(cid:863).
