No matter how good the research its not useful unless someone does something with it. Research reports are long and people don"t want to take the time to go through a study: this is essential because the studies do need to be so detailed. We can change some things, and we should focus on those things. You want to speak and present to them in their language, don"t impose your language on others. Use the smallest word that does the job, you want to be sesynct, clear and simple: skill that takes time and practice to master, too much detail can draw attention away from your key messages. Make everything as simple as possible but not simpler than needed. Use passive if you don"t know who the doer of the action was or if you want to emphasize the object instead of the subject.
