Inter-war years refers to the time between wwi and wwii. A period of time that is marked international by the return of protectionism and rise in alternative/radical ideologies. Protectionism the idea that you need to isolate your own countries economy and protect it from other countries. First era of globalization was between 1870 and 1914. Around much of the rest of the world where was little to no recovery from the war. But in canada and the united states, countries that were physically untouched by the war, economies grew. However; not everything was rosy, in particular unionism and socialism/communism was constricted during the war. Allows the government to suspend your rights. Allows the government to pass laws without parliament. Goods are not being produced due to. 2) most of the stuff we are producing we were sending to the army. They interned thousands of germans for the singular crime of being german, with no charge, trial or recourse (bad side)
