Fecal contamination: if deer contaminate the bale cattle wont touch it, or if they do it can lead to other issues. Ex- pigs can scare other animals away from the food and water. One herbivore limits the access of another to a preferred forage plant in the absence. Fecal contamination: cattle are much for likely to inject fecal contamination and sheep are a lot more selective in what they eat so they don"t ingest so much.
