Feed on almost every marine mammal species available throughout the range. Killer whales is in resident population in alaska & bc feed exclusively on fish and squid. Transient(coming from other areas) killer whale in alaska & bc only feed on mammals. As a group, they create area where they can trap the smaller fishes together and then they take turn eating.
