The structure of neurons: transmits info throughout your body, see fig. In textbook notes: cells will only fire/communicate electrical current if there"s enough stimulation. Action potential: neurons will connect from dendrites of one cell connected to the axon terminals of another. Synapse synaptic cleft: the axon terminal (presynaptic cell sending signal) and dendrites (postsynaptic cell receiving signal) connection, information within the axon terminal are the neurotransmitters. The info being sent: synaptic vesicles holds the neurotransmitters.
