Situational influences on behaviour, what is social psychology: The study of how other people influence what we think, feel and do. If there are bad people, we will have some bad actions as well. Can just take out bad people, we have to change culture and society and the parts that encourage bad behaviours to happen: how the people around us influence our behaviour. Organization- sexual assault: military sexual misconduct: independent victim. Thought that behaviour is a function of the person and the environment: mimicry, we have an unconscious tendency to engage in actions, emotional reactions, and facial expressions that we observed in other people. This tendency allows for transmitting cultural practices and skills from one generation to the next. It also enables us to work cooperatively to achieve goals that we could not accomplish on our own. The biological basis that makes us tend to match to others.
