Intersectional feminism: is a concept often used in critical theories to describe the ways in which oppressive institutions are interconnected and cannot be examined separately from one another. Largely used in critical theories, especially feminist theories when discussing systematic oppression. We should be past feminist because inequality was in the past. Her father could not see how someone could be limited based on their gender, so she was raised differently than the norm at that time. In her painting of her teacher painting her, she assumes creative authority. Conversation pieces: created to discuss different ideas. A virtuoso is a woman endowed with male creative inspiration. Depends on whether she can rise above the condition of her sex and act (or paint) like a man.
