Ideological content of media texts is generally not masterminded as we have seen, media producers are usually merely motived by profit so they will generate texts that represent any ideology that might be profitable. This means that ideology does not originate solely w/ the producers; its systemic and circulates throughout culture. Yet media have the power to signify events in particular way.
