If you are a subscriber to policing as a service, you would agree that higher education is critical to make a good officer. If you are more into policing as a force you may believe that higher education is not necessary to become a good officer. They tend to question orders (occurs predominantly at the lower level) Most of these issues are incompatible with the paramilitary organization.
