Each year students seem somewhat anxious when they are told to cite a minimum of. Believe it or not, 10 sources should not be cause for concern. What you need to do is understand how to cite research properly and effectively. That"s what this handout is for. research paper perhaps by dedicating a single paragraph to each research paper. Generally speaking, students tend to incorporate multiple academic sources into their paper by discussing each source, one-by-one. In other words, if jason has read three great papers on racial profiling, he will systematically discuss/describe each. There is nothing inherently wrong with this approach: sometimes a particular research paper is so important that you should describe it carefully. But you can imagine what"s going to happen if you find 15 relevant academic articles: your paper will turn into a long description of what other people said.
