Mobilization lead to compensation when you now go to testify. Demands restitution, repaid by the offender for the damage they have done, try and lessen the trauma of court appearance and lessen influence. Scope and nature depends of course on the type of crime, depression, fear, avoidance and require support, counseling, others may react differently. Rape trauma syndrome short term and long term effects such as sleep disturbances and constant state of fear, depression, suicide and problems engaging in relationships with others. Child abuse long standing effects into adulthood, anxiety, suicide etc. Child sexual abuse many personality disorders, mutilation, suicide (males are more likely to commit suicide) Secondary victims (co-victims) close to that victim.
