The laws created are laws we all created together as a society. He took all the crimes existing and organized them into 3 categories. 1, stealing, 2, assault (corporal-physical)(if you hurt someone, you should be hurt as punishment), 3, murder (something really against society) General deterrence public hangings, kid being sent in the hall for talking in class.
