Models of juvenile justice: crime control model: - responsibility of state to maintain order; crime not tolerated, protect the public, by punishing criminals (conservative appr. ) When a person is harmed someone is responsible for that victim emphasis on harmed/broken relationship & making up for it (ex. someone who broke a window should fix it/pay for it to be fixed) Sentences: fine, place in foster care, children"s aid society, probation, reform school.
