Security is not an objecive condiion but the outcome of a speciic social and poliical process. Securiizaion describes a poliically and social constructed process of governments and the media presening threats to naional or state security in a highly dramaized and persuasive for of public discourse. When things are deemed to be a threat to state security, this threat enables governments to raionalize, suspend, challenge, and change long-established orders, rules, norms and laws.
