Are trying to bring about some change in society, or prevent a threatening change. Place demands on business and corporations or governments. Boycotting is an example of a social movement but if it is collective then that means that you need to recruit other people to boycott as well. Slut walk movement is an example that started in canada and then spread internationally. The group anonymous claims to have social justice goals and says they are doing it for society. Sometimes laws are broken but others are completely legal.
