Species being (similar to human nature) humans as a species need to have meaningful and purposeful work. We need to be able to think and be creative (productive) Biggest critique of capitalism is it strips us form our species being. When we sell our work for wage we are alienated from ourselves and our work. Prior to capitalism, we are making things for use or to exchange with some one they knew. When we move to factory work we lose that control, some one else is telling you what to do and you lose control of what happens to product once it is made. You are alienated from control of how and the conditions in which you are working. We are alienated from our very own selves and our own nature. In the workplace where you cannot talk and the relationship between your self and your employer.
