Divorced men are twice as likely to remarry than are divorced women. Women 34 more likely to be remarried and men around 48 more likely to remarry 50 percentile. Males; high ses men are more likely to remarry. Social monogamy functions like polygeny; wealth helps for reproductive success and other factors political power, athleticism, Extra-pair copulations (epcs) occur in many species that are socially monogamous. Extra-pair paternity is more likely to occur when there is greater variance in male quality. Estimates of extra-pair paternity (epp) rates vary considerably.
