Comprises the view that the ego deserved more attention. Key question: does the child find caregivers reliable. Key question: does the child initiate tasks and goals. Identity confusion: most people can relate, not knowing who you are. Identity foreclosure: choosing without giving much thought. Negative identity: frowned upon in society (deviant) Moratorium: exploring possible identities before settling down for one.
