Blood vessels in eye that supply reina with nourishment, start to swell and leak slightly. They leak as well: speeds up the problem. Cause loaters and scar reina, can even cause detached reina. Laser photocoagulaion: seal of new abnormal blood vessels. Pan reinal photocoagulaion: deliberately burn bits of the reina so there is not so much, macular degeneraion blood demand. Causes you to unable to see the thing you most want to see. Get litle yellow lumps (drusen) growing between the epithelium and cones. Pushes cones away from the choroid (source of nourishment) and pigment epithelium so they die. Soluion: laser photo coagulaion, nutriion treatments, cone dystrophy (rare disorder) Progressive change that results or poorly nourished sells or issues. Body doesn"t produce a certain protein resuling in a loss of cones. Are ine at night, in day everything seems too bright: reiniis pigmentosa (hereditary reinal disorder) Starts on outside works towards the center: glaucoma.
