The scientific method: critical thinking rigorous testing reliable observations, (cid:862)fluo(cid:396)es(cid:272)e(cid:374)t lights (cid:272)ause autis(cid:373)(cid:863) Critical thinking: theories, for e. g. bystander theory, discharging responsibility in a large crowd for an injured party, statistical techniques, using statistics, we want to find out if it is significant. Rigorous testing: hypothesis testing, fishing = bad research methodologies, peer review. Replicable: results can be reproduced using the same methodology and producers.
