He got rid of the hippocampus on both sides. H. m. memory disorder was selective in five important ways. Discovers what hm could do and learn: higher-order perceptual, motor, and cognitive functions not affected. Above average iq - recognizes and names common objects - normal language a memory deficit and that"s it, it is specific.
