What are the components of the canadian constitution principles. Rule of law: principle that individuals should be subject only to known predictable and impartial rules, rather than to the arbitrary orders of those in governing positions. Idea that the laws not just the constitution is there to provide a stable, predictable order of society. When it doesn"t follow a certain pattern there is something wrong.
