Many sub organizations: international court of justice, security council, general assembly, economic and social council, trusteeship council, secretariat. Main deliberative organ of un: each has one vote, decisions are important issues including peace and security require 2/3 majority, decision on other issues majority. Makes recommendations to un members (not legally binding) Commission on peaceful uses of outer space. 5 permanent members: usa, uk, china, russia, france.
