Zhi, is a central concept and they often talk about how to bring it about. To get good people in power, they need to be well paid, have rank, and have real power. This can be given to anyone; it"s based on virtue not kingship. Yi - there should be one standard of rightness in the state (the ruler should impose this standard). The emperor is the mandate of heaven (he"s heaven"s son), and acts with the approval of heaven. You can help with your own needs by help others needs. For mohism ren is benevolence, or impartial caring. In mohism, society takes the familial role in kongzi"s teachings.
