Fricker"s view contrasts credulism and reductionism, fricker you know from being told when you have developed your testimonial sensibility, to when you only trust when you should. You can weed out prejudice when listening to other people. What fricker basically says is that we call rely on stereotypes, but sometimes those stereotypes are prejudicial. You can be working with an inaccurate stereotype when you are presented with evidence, a good listen will override an initial stereotype. If you don"t you are committing a testimonial and epistemic injustice when you undermine someone as a knower. Reflexive critical openness- the virtue fricker identifies, we make snap judgements that are critically reformed over time. Reflexive critical openness: this virtue, when appropriately developed. You become habituated to know when your own prejudice is filtering in. The way you correct your precipice is through social situations and personal openness.
