Part of stomach (above diaphragm) becomes weak and starts to bulge, gastric juices back up in esophagus. Chemically afect muscle tone of the digestive tract & lower esophageal sphincter: fried foods - digested slowly, smoking, alcohol, large portions, cafeine.
