What do slave societies look like: poor conditions, punished, whipped etc, lots of pressure on the slaves, areas of lower economic rates would face more rebellions, these would provoke them to revolt. Societies were built upon slave labour: these societies were entirely slaves. What does revolution look like in this context: revolts were often lead by slaves the recently came over from africa, these slaves lived in fear which gave them reason not to revolt, repercussions would be death, ex. There was a successful non-violent revolt which cause these men to be put to death. You could run away: people used religion to help with their life as a slave.
