Given a study guide to help prepare answers. A crime trial, questions to answer about it drawn from readings. A couple of paragraphs, a few true and false and m/c. Online seminar participation component 200 words, minimum of 2 responses. Sketches or wood carvings were distributed, cheap and easy to find literacy was low. People would read these types of things aloud for the less-literate peoples, sometimes for money sometimes not. Portray travelling entertainers, beggars, homeless, etc. outside of the city as they could not beg within the city without a license. Portray disability, poor the early modern culture that does not treat the poor and disable well as they have to scrape by and are often exiled. Early modern culture shows insiders (christian people) and outsiders (poor, disabled, jews, non-christian peoples, muslims, etc. ) Ostracize jewish populations in the community (masks with large noses), anti- Educated, officials in the church, university attendees, wealthy, people with property.
