We do not want a male nation : blaming germany for the war. Ellen key: the great war redefined women"s relationship with the nation: making sure that women were dominant in the home their service to the nation. Margaret macdonald (1873-1948): a yen (yearning) for wars : she was a keen advocate for militarianism for imperialism.
