He predicted the end of time as 2060. The mysteries of nature and art , a book newton poured over. He once admitted he wanted to burn his mother and stepfather in their house. At cambridge, newton buried himself in studies. There is no evidence that anyone liked newton at all, except for his friend. The idea that the sun was the center of the universe was somewhat accepted, and now the question was what was holding the planetary system together. Using this falling apple analogy, he explained this force, which he called gravity. After doing calculations, the solutions weren"t being right, so he left this idea. While doing calculations on speed, he made time be infinitesimally small. And from this, newton created a completely new branch of math called calculus. He discovered the spectrum of white light as it passes through a prism. Which was new as people had been believing that white light is pure.
