The last vacation i took was at an all inclusive resort in cuba for 7 days with 10 other friends. This is an example of mass tourism because the vacation package comprised of transport and accommodations all set including food and stay. My friends and i went during reading week in february 2016 so there were a lot of other students. This shows how these package holidays rely on mass consumption for increased profits. On the trip we mostly stayed by the beach and enjoyed the resort but we did do one excursion which was a day spent touring havana to get exposed to the local culture. On this excursion we stopped at two local restaurants to try their authentic cuban food, we walked around the city for the day and viewed a few historic sites along the way. You could say though, that since there were so many tours with foreigners from all over the world touring.
