Net migration is the difference between in and out migration. Population increase is the sum of the natural increase and the net migration. Migration began taking over the increase in the popular rather than natural increase. Last highest natural increase was the baby boom from 1946-(cid:1005)(cid:1013)(cid:1010)(cid:1009)"s. In 2030 there will be an even amount in deaths and births and as the years continue our natural births will begin to decrease and go into the negative numbers. Mortality rate= number of deaths in a year 1000 per people. Infant mortality = the number of babies that die within the first year of their lives; it is usually given in number of deaths per thousand. Migration is about the movement of people. More than that, migration is when the movement of people results in the permanent re-location of an individual or a group across significant distances. Migration takes place at different scales, from movement between neighborhoods to movement across international borders.
