Physical health, sensory perceptual skills, motor skills, cognitive skills and ego strength. Environmental press: the physical, interpersonal or social demands that environments put on people. Both competence and environmental press change as peropls move through the life span. The demands put on you by the environment changes as you age, The competence environmental press frameworl reflects the lifecycle factor as well. Adaptation level: the area where press level is average for a particular level of competence this is where behvaror and affect are normal. Slight increases in press tend to improve performance.
