Promoting individually appropriate, enjoyable, life-enhancing physical activity, rather than exercise that is focused on the goal of weight loss. Intuitive eaters have lowered body dissatisfaction, higher self-esteem, better coping skills, higher optimism and lower bmi. Body image: the mental picture we have of ourselves. Self esteem: your opinion of yourself. How you value and respect yourself as a person.
