Purpose is for entertainment, not choosing life partner. Newer technologies are acceptable for potential dating partners. Less acceptable for asking for a date. Dating without any goal or long-term commitment. Attracted to individuals who are around us. Like those who are similar to us. Choose individuals with traits similar to our own. Opposites attract little evidence that complementary personality causes attraction. Similarity provides context for relationship in which different skills/ interests become complementary. Choose someone who is attainable, not our ideal. Behaviour that are expected of a person in a specific position. How we actually function in the relationship compared to how we expected we would function.
