15-20% students from other countries semesters start in october. A lot of horse economics and marketing: basics to enter a company so not. Internshiup: many go to foreign countries just to work on a farm. Have a barn for students horses that cost 150 (compared to 500-700) but horse gets used for education and research (7 stalls, 3 outddoor board) Have video cams in stalls for research. Have connections w many associations (riding, breeding), industry partners. Close to other unis that hv horse programs ex, berlin. More pop to bed in straw: 10kg straw/day/horse. Fn orientated to sport show riders but most riders are recreational: problem. Breeders: high performance, show horses are easier to sell. Not allowed to license stallions wo performance testing. 66% live w partner, 50% of horsey ppl has a dog, 2000 euro/person/month, ridden for over 15yrs, more than 50-60% have own horse (no riding school) Now 25% in boxes w window, 20 % box wo window.
