The romans incorporated their religious practices into greek myth. The romans created the myth of the origin of rome using the aeneid and the livy. They believe their city was founded april 21, 750 bc. The story of the origin of rome started after the trojan war. Aeneas flees the city but he is not a coward: he wants to stay and fight and die with his fellow trojans but he is forced to leave by his mother venus (aphrodite)
