Document Summary
Technical reviews -> to provide a technical assessment. (assess the quality of the document you have produced) Finding errors, flaws things we can improve in the system. We can do the review place in several stages. If you find an error at the review stage it takes 1 hour to defect to fix. If you find an error in the testing phase it takes 2-4 to defect to fix. If you find an error after the release date it takes 33 hours to defect to fix it. Technical reviews can be applied to requirements, designs, or to code. Trying to do a quality assurance, make sure no errors. Main objectives of a review (regardless of the stage) To ensure the software meets a standard (internal standards from the client, the company) (external standards from the government, legal) Reviews can take several forms. (can be informal or formal) Focus on a specific and small part of the system.
