A database is a collecion of related data that can be stored, sorted, organized, and queried. Use databases all of the ime in our daily rouines. Have a table but within that table is a record and within that record are various ields. A database is not a database unless it has each and every one of these items. There are diferent types of databases but the most common is a relaional database. Access which we use for one of the assignments is a relaional database. A relaional database operates by organizing data into various tables based on logical groupings. In relaional databases, a link between tables that deines how the data is related is referred to as a relaionship.
