Not like small cows: more selective, can feed whole grains, sensitive to some minerals like copper. Selective grazers therefore you can feed them whole grains they spend more time chewing. Nutritional flushing: hold them back, then right before breeding season increase feed increases conception rate and number of lambs. Sheep hide signs of illness till it is too late. Dry for sheep to eat and out of moisture once they are finished eating. Pregnant for 5 months lamb in the spring.
