Pet nutrition: innovation in the companion animal industry. We are in a committed relationship with companion animals. It has been proven that i would resemble someone in australia who has a pet more than someone who lives here without pets. Higher immune function: children who are raised with dogs have lower prevalence of allergies. Lower mental stress and feelings of hopelessness and depression: especially children. Higher physical activity in children and adults. Part of the family and often described by children as their best friend. Children often rank pets higher than ppl in their social world. View them as confidants and providers of comfort and support. Service dogs improve self esteem and physiologic well being.
