Public law sets the rules for individuals in society. Laws that are meant for everyone to obey to ensure relative peace and harmony. Private law (civil law) refers to relationships between individual actors (ie. legal contracts) How we can sign of myriad of different contracts. Example: contracts for purchase of a vehicle, buying a home each person that is a partner in the contract can make adjustments to it.
